Oh my, its been quite a while since i updated. Been very very very busy.. (a little too busy for my liking. I find myself starting to wish i have time to sit in front of my television for 4 hours and not think a single thought. =P)
My first week in SGH neuro was ok i guess. Its a bit weird to be walking around the wards alone (i.e. no other medical students around) but i suppose it takes getting use to. Luckily the team doctors are all quite friendly.. hope this week's team which i'm going to be rotated to is nice also.. otherwise, with no other med students to share the flak, the week might be bad..
My weekend totally went by in a flash. Started off with a bang on Friday evening with kboxing with old CHP gp pple - KH, Vic, Ben, Jan at Chinatown, before dinner with the guys at Chomp Chomp, with supper at Ice3 (this really cool restaurant at Serangoon Gardens - i'm sure Frank will like it, its his type of ice cream parlour). We then adjourned to Ben's house as we talked the night away together with card games of bridge & hearts..
Slept at 5am that night / morning, and yet, Saturday was going to be equally packed.. Argh. Woke up at 8am, then morning church service at Novena, followed by shopping for a new computer, and afternoon badminton session, before heading down in the evening to Dave's house for a pleasant steamboat dinner with Dave, Nat, FQ, Sue, SY.. too bad the rest were busy / overseas already. Oh, and I love the DeathNote 1 & 2 movies! =P Think they are quite well made and entertaining.. think Hollywood is going to do remakes soon.. =P (now i need to find someone who can lend me the 3rd one when it comes out =P)
Yah, and after seeing the 2 DeathNote movies back to back, I only reached home and went to bed at 2am.. Phew! I'm surprised that i actually survived the day with only 3 hours of sleep =p
Today Sunday wasn't all that bad.. Late morning service, with afternoon and dinner with the usual gang.. Phew. Just suddenly feeling rather tired. and still have to go hospital tmr!! Arh... plus my project to do.. and stuff to read.. Aiz. It's gonna be a long week ahead..
