5 Pathological Signs of Induced Frenzy

You know that something's in the air around the Patho labs..

Presenting, 5 Pathological signs of Induced Frenzy, seen or heard all around the 5th & 6th floor Patho labs, the tables around the 2nd floor, and generally all around..

1) The "Head-Turner"
Best for those who crave attention.

"Oh no, I need to go back and start my 2nd round revision!"

2) Viewing Slides
Viewing slides takes on a new meaning with "eye-balling" the slides without the help of your not-so-friendly-microscopes.

Now you know:

- A round sphere with artificial spacing amidst the rest of the tissue = Uterus Leiomyoma
- the only round circular "organ" that fits nicely into the slide = Acute Appendicitis
- the only long, slim organ on the slide = Granulation Tissue
- the only wedge shaped slide in the whole collection = Kidney Infarct
- cavitating lesion = chronic peptic ulcer
- any thyroid slide = thyroid adenoma
- lung abscess = lung abscess

and the clincher:
- any thing that you have no idea what it is = lymph node with either TB, SCC, or NHL.

3) Notes-zapper
"Eh, can i borrow that to zap?"

You know something's wrong when you have 2 different set of notes for Forensic Patho that you can study from, yet insist on photocopying that 3rd set of notes which your friend is holding.

The grass is greener on the other side.

Really?

4) Notes-zapper Contd.
With your new notes tightly clutched in your hands, you arrive home to find..

*horrors!*

You already had that set of notes!

5) The Winner

NO STUDY = NO SHOPPING

********************

Ok, better go back to studying.
